    goddam! I cant leave shit alone I knew if I didn't over build it from the start that eventually it would end up with all these parts and I would be paying for it twice. I have the means right now to pay for it and not charge a single thing to a card so thats what I'm doing. I don't know why the hell I decided to do it the same year I am paying for my wedding also, guess I just like to stress myself out!

    Man I never would have guessed that, saw that you are missing Rock Therapy this year? I may miss it as well, really depends how much longer the build lasts and how much testing I can do before. If I had a tow rig and trailer I wouldn't trip!

    Not trying to start an arguement, just gonna state my opinion as of right now.. 60s are expensive to rebuild.. they're very heavy (unsprung but still weight) and I think for alot of people they are overkill.. I never plan to run 42in tires and have 350+hp so I don't feel that I need 60s.. i would rather stay super light and low.. put some boost on the 2.7, run 38s and a pair of diamonds.. what I'll run as far as third members I haven't decided.

    That sounds good for your smaller and lighter weight single cab, the guy I replied to is on a larger double cab and wanted to use a "run of the mill D44." Doesn't sound like he wanted to build it.

    I agree as I won't be using 60's on my first gen, I simply don't think I need them for my plans. If you're in the same boat and want to use better than a run of the mill d44 then more power to ya.

    To each his own really lol.

    just remember it's not just HP and tire size that breaks stuff torque and traction also kill parts. Just learn your rig and let out before you brake stuff. Having said that i know my rig very well and more importantly i know me even better, and i don't to let off or break.

    yeah i am missing RT but that's because of timing if my little girl wasn't due on the 14th of Jun i would go. So a few of my local friends and I are just going down next month.

    Waste of time putting a D44 under a second gen. And you don't need 42's and 350 hp to break a D44 lol. Hell I just broke a 60 on 40's and ~236 hp. If a D44 will do the trick for you, so would your stock front diff.

    so if it comes early and you're in moab hows that work? I'm not even gonna risk that shit. I built a 4 door to take the family wheeling there will be room for plenty of adventure down the road.

    My boss has them in a 37 they kick ass from what I've seen.

    I wheeled with a guy in moab who had them back in 05 when they first came out. He loved them and they looked to hook up great, then again its moab any tire works great out there. They are on my list of tires to try for sure.

    Yeah I know they do well in the rock but here in the southeast there's a lot of clay and mud on the trails too. Worried about them not cleaning out
