Alright guys, so I seem to be having a slight issue with the airbags. There is a pretty distinct knocking noise coming from the area when I take off from a complete stop, or even accelerate from a very slow speed, like at a stop sign. Sometimes the noise comes in two consecutive knocks ("Knock..Knock..") and other times it's just one...
It just started doing this in the past couple days, and didn't occur after the installation was complete.
Does anyone have any ideas? It's dark outside at the moment, so I probably won't get any good pics but I can upload some in the morning if need be.

    Who's there? :D

Seriously, probably forgot to tighten the mounts Or maybe got the top mount plate backwards? Check the install diagram. I wouldn't drive it till you get it right, probably not dangerous, but might cost some $$$ screwing it up driving.

I went over everything pretty thoroughly after the install, and went over it again today, and everything seems to be in its right place.

I don't recall your spring setup is...?
    Do you have daystar cradles?
    What pressure do you have?

sky jacker add a leaf 3, Bilstein Yellow shocks", Front Bilstein yellow shocks, AC Delco coils, 2 inch spacer. 2 Inch wheel spacers.Internal Frame coating. External frame coating. Soda blasted engine.
I was nose high with my tacoma. very noticible like yours. I had to add a block under the springs. Which led me to swap the brake line since there was not any more slack. that can work for you.

I have the factory springs, no TSB, and the Wheeler's 1.5" progressive AAL.
I do have the daystar cradles installed.
I currently have the airbags at 25psi.

Aryant, from your pictures, I see two problems.
One, your bottom plate is deformed on the inside from torqueing the mounting bolt. This being the only view showing that defect, it may be an issue or not, hard to determine from a picture.
Two, your bottom plate's inside leg does not extend down to the axle for support. Check the "Official Firestone Ride Rite" thread for pictures of the same issue, and the fix required, being bolt-on leg extenders, available from wherever you bought your RideRites.

I figured out what the issue was. The passenger side cradle was not centered underneath the airbag, which I guess was allowing it to slip around in the cradle, causing the knocking sound. I loosened the bottom bracket, readjusted, and the sound has stopped.
