I've bought three Toyotas (two Tacomas and a Prius) in Phoenix...none of them have been from Camelback Toyota. I think this thread makes it clear why that is.

    Thanks for the clarification.

They could still take the dam part down to the good ole post office and ship the dam thing.

I still think it's bs to not ship apo. Saying because they use fedex is crap because fedex and ups both do apo as long as you fill out the custom paperwork

But I'll give Brian tge benefit of the doubt since he walked into this and is not the one to set this rule. Hopefully he can do something about it

Good gracious guys I'm a big supporter of the military and making items available for shipping but if you are gonna crucify the poor guy for something at least get your facts correct on applicable law.

It's like a Salem witch trial up in this bitch

So you have researched all the vendors on this site and their shipping policies and have crucified them accordingly as well or was this just jumping on the bandwagon?

I know I'm stepping in dangerous territory questioning "the crew", but this was a bit out of control.

I've read this from front to back. No place did the OP state a discount is was to be given, only his help in processing transactions through his dealer. This was only assumed. I understand this is TW and discounts are expected by any vendor signing up and making a post, but that's not always the case. Sometimes customer service far surpasses the 10% or whatever discount is offered. We all love discounts, but it's not the end all be all of sales on Tacoma World.

You stated they turned their nose up at service men and women. That's entirely your and the other pitchforks opinions. This is not the direction or policy of the OP and you ripped him to shreds without even giving him a day or two to talk with his management to see if they will reconsider their shipping policies. You guys went straight for the throat on a sales guy that has little say in how their shipping policies are determined. Would you expect the OP to happily respond while being constanantly hammered and belittled in which they were treated today? Give him a few days and see if they can change their policy. It's known with anyone that has a job decisions aren't made split second like you all expected here. Yes, there were two reps here, but this shit show was flying out of hand so fast how would they keep their ducks in a row. The hammers were falling relentlessly and they were trying to appease in anyway possible and TCBob gave them the time to do so. Is this the example we want to set for future vendors on this site? There are numerous members on this site that have nothing but good experiences with this vendor and their prices.

It's Friday and I've had a long ass week at work as I'm sure the employees at Camelback did also so maybe I'm off base. Just know, they are here as representatives of their employers and not acting in their personal discretions so only so much can be negotiated in one day. Have some patients and tact in how you approach people especially vendors. It will most likely benefit you in the long run. Have a good night.

Not off base and well said. I've been thinking through how to respond. Many people posting are expecting a solution instead of being a part of it.

@Dean724 i said what I said because they took money from me and never shipped the part I ordered, and they never communicated to me weather it was on back order or what, I even tried to call the dealerships parts department and got hung up on repeatedly when I called to find out a status on said order, never got an email with an order number or conframation number, so was I off base with my comments

FWIW. Yesterday morning, at the height of the feces flinging, I was having a PM conversation with Brian. He gave me a price quote that was less than the price on their site; I placed my order, paid my invoice. The item has shipped --for free IAW the CBT shipping policy.
BTW, the CBT price for the item I ordered was less than that of the other vendor referenced in this thread.

I feel like @Dean724 said it perfectly! I too was trying to figure out how to respond to this mayhem and he beat me to it. That being said, there are alot of companies that will not ship to APO's. There are ways around it, if you are so worried about that individual getting his parts and you care so much about our outstanding service men and women then step up and offer to have the items shipped to you and you ship it to them. The only person I've seen offer this is @Razgriz ! Thank you sir by the way for your generous solution to one of our veterans. Now before yall get all up tight on me about it. I have been there and am a veteran myself. All in all just ease up on the OP, if yall don't want his help or services then move on. Alright, I'm done.

I agree totally about locking the thread till something is resolved. Was just saying it's been a cluster from the beginning.
