Lifting my 2016 TRD Off-Road

I would like to install a minimum of a 3" lift or a maximum of a 6". I do want a suspension lift with no spacers. I would like to maintain somewhat of a good ride. I do go off-road as well as a lot of camping but mainly a daily driver to and from work and whatnot. I live in Florida so my off-roading is limited to the state as of know. Mainly mud and sand. I will say the lift is mainly for functionality of being off-road but a little look as well. As far as tires are concerned, I would be happy with something a long the lines of no bigger than a 17" with 35's. I would be just as happy with 16" and 33's or 285's as well. Lastly as far as budget. This truck is important to me so I would like to do it right. Thanks for any advice.

3 to 6" huh? The way I see it you're limited to the crank it up without a clue bye bye CV joints lift mall crawler bro lift, mall crawler bro's best mate drop bracket block and spacer oh hell no to dirt on my neon lift, or the high dollar long travel and I'd love some extra width with that lift. There's also the I've got more money than I know what to do with let's SAS this bitch lift, but I'm guessing that's not even in your periphery if you're asking in the first place.

 

3" will give you more clearance than a 6" lift will

Huh, not to sure how to take this response as I'm new to this blog. No Im not limited to the crank it up without a clue or whatever it is your trying to say lift. I asked a simple question for someone with a little intelligence about Tacoma's to answer. I don't like neon and do not go to the mall, bro. I spend to much time outdoors for that. My time is spent hunting, camping, and fishing with my family, bro. I have a good idea what i want but was curious about what others have done with their Tacoma and whether or not they were happy with the results, bro. If you were trying to be a smart ass, well I'm not impressed at all. If you weren't then I apologize for taking your message the wrong way.

Blistiens 5100 with a add a leaf will do @ 3 "

These seem to be the 2 most popular ways to go

In my opioin if you got kids especially small kids 6" is gonna be to big if you stay between 2&3" it will be fully functional and give you a nice look and you can get the stance you want with out being over kill while running 285s

Yeah the 6" was actually my 8 year olds idea, lol. Definatley not into that. I just want something more practical like the 3" with the 285's on my stock rims. Thank you for the reply.

 

Look into the MaxTrac spindles. Go to www.maxtracsuspension.com. Great kits and does not change stock geometry or ride. All depends on what you are doing with your truck. Spindles only work on 2WD 6lug tacomas.

My 2015 had the spindles with extended brake lines, fox 2.5 foil overs with all preload taken out, and icon upper control arms. Method 17" wheels and BFG KO2 285/70/17 tires. Fox 2.0 shocks in the rear but factory height. Great stance and great ride. I live in Southern California so we like some nose rake. Hope this helps
