    Hi-

Need a replacement and the glass companies here can't get one. Told me to go to the dealer. They dealer does not replace glass here. The glass tech asked me what the Go-Pro mount was. Said he has never seen one.

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

Attempted to have mine replaced. No aftermarket windshields yet. I wanted to replace mine with OEM anyway. I asked for a quote, $1100+. They said it'll be a few months before they could get one. Needless to say I have accepted the crack in mine. I'll consider it a mod. Adds character, like a scar.

It's an acoustic windshield that cuts down on road noise, so I'm sure it's going to be a few bucks more than a standard windshield. Something to keep in mind when going aftermarket.

Wonder if the OEM comes with the Go-Pro mount? Dealer can get the glass for $975. Need an installer.

Be thankful your getting an OEM one.

Aftermarket ones sometimes are different. In my frontier I had to replace my windshield. The OEM one was fully blacked out up around the rear view. The OEM was only DOT matrix. Pissed me off because it didn't block the sun as good. Id be willing to be most aftermarket ones won't retain the acoustic dampening like the OEM. Mainly because insurance companies always try to go as cheap as possible. And if a glass manufacture can cut cost by not retaining it and sell more because they are cheaper for insurance companies it's a win win in there eyes.
