    CVT MT Shasta is good for 2 plus a dog. or you can use the annex and have room for a bigger dog or two kids
    [we have a small dog]

    Plus that trailer previously posted is a m-416 or bantam era [dependent on plates]. We have a Strict 1952 M-100 that I pull [and will be bringing] with all gear and the aforementioned CVT tent.

    When you say overhang do you mean the the drape that hangs down or ?

    massive difference I overlooked. +1 for @HomerTaco

    Such a big thing especially for bad weather and/or women sleeping in your tent.
    both of those two meet, you'll want the Shasta for sure....
    ask me how i know.....

    Edit: the overhang is a roof per say overhanging the ladder and allows the vestibule to be zipped around the ladder for a much better weatherproof situation when SHTF

    the overhang meaning the ladder side can be enclosed with the annex. the ladder can then be "inside" the RTT. The shasta has that whereas the Hood has an annex only under the ladder side & the ladder is exposed.
