It's freakin' cold! Not like I haven't suffered worse, or for longer, but this winter has been so mild that dipping into negative numbers is a total shock.

 

Hang in there Roger, warming up on Monday here which means you all should too soon after. Hasn't been real warm here this winter but enough that the below zero weather seems to take my breath away in the morning. Or maybe I'm just getting old and sensitive to it!

Another great date with the awesome woman. Things are going great but being careful to take things slowly. Hope you all had a great Saturday and today is even better.

Wow, was it a cold one out there yesterday. Coldest day I can remember given the combination of cold air and wind. Not as windy today. Snow starting tonight and into tomorrow before it turns to freezing rain and sleet before it turns to all rain on Tuesday. Then the temps will start to pick up and become more moderate... YAY!! Just 1-3 inches of snow and ice forecasted but it's the ice part that is nasty.

Ice/freezing rain sucks ... Always.

Only thing good about negative temps is how good positive temps feel when they come back.

Good morning everyone. Stay warm and those still sick with the crud get well soon! Have a safe trip back Rob and enjoy your last day of vacation with the family. Light snow here after a few more cups of coffee think I'll try some more snowflake pictures with the camera. Or maybe just stay inside and look at it from the warmth.

Morning everyone. I have to go out today to do stuff.
Don't want to... it's cold!!!

 

You can do it ! I was out yesterday when it was just as cold and much, much more windy. Just think about the dog days of summer, awful heat and humidity. Will make it seem more tolerable.

 

22 degrees when I first went outside (@ 0430) Now it's a toasty 26. Light snow blowing around now, with heavier snow on the way. Guessers say we'll get 3" to 4" a'fore this is over, and more tomorrow afternoon. Warm up due here by late week. Supposed to be near 70 by next Saturday. Dealing with inflated ego's @ work this morning. Where's my big hammer!?!?!?

 

You done with your install yet @Bluegrass Taco ? I think it hit a high of 18 degrees the other day, so you have no excuse

 

Waiting until this coming Friday. We're suppose to see upper 50's Friday and upper 60's on Saturday. 21 and snowing right now.

 

evening boys!!! Was a chilly day for here - currently 35* brrrr but now snow Got up @ 8:00 with a nasty headache. Took some motrin and went back to sleep until ~ 1:00.

Hope you guys are feeling better/getting over your illnesses.

Wife is cooking steak and scallops for dinner right now. Hell, she even bought me a pecan pie and made whipped cream! It's cold outside, but the house is toasty warm.

Tonight at least, Life is good.

 

No Wife, No kids all week. They're visiting my in-laws in Canada. That means junk food or fast food. Life not so good for me.

 

Since my wife is down with a bad cold, I had to fend for myself if I wanted to eat. She's been eating peanut butter and crackers and didn't want anything, so, drag out a skillet, fry up some garlic baloney, a couple fried eggs, and a slice of sharp cheddar cheese on a rye bun. Found a lonley stray Hieniken dark in the back of the fridge. Ya talk about good stuff! I doubt my doctor would approve, but what the hell....He ain't the one eatin' it!
