I am soon expecting to receive my ordered 2016 DCSB Off Road. I am strongly considering the Truck Covers USA retractable tonneau and wanted a bed box. But I don't need something large.

Looking for alternative ideas, perhaps something that can take advantage of the bed rail for attachment. This UnderCover Swing Case looks very interesting. Has anyone seen one or using one?

I've got driver and passenger side swing out toolboxes as well as an American Workforce Jr Toolbox/tonneau cover. They install easy and provide a ton of storage. I don't regret purchasing them at all!

I stacked a few sales together a couple months ago. The tonneau cover and both the tool boxes were about $2,600 total. Normally about $3k

@bournekj: Can you please measure the distance between those two swing cases? Is it still at least 48 inches (I need to make Home Depot runs for stuff like plywood, which comes in sheets 4-feet wide. Or, if two doesn't leave at least 48 inches, wondering how much one swing case and the opposite wheel well might leave.

Edit: But, then again, I guess being a swing case, you can take them out to fit the plywood. Anyway, if you have time to measure with them installed, I'd be much obliged.

Well, there's only 41 inches between the wheel wells. If you leave the swing out cases installed, they have about 36.5 inches if I recall correctly. The swing outs lift off the hinge point easily and can be thrown in the backseat or elsewhere.

I am reviving an old thread - looking for feedback, considerations, real use thoughts on the Swing case. I have a MX4 Trifold on order and looking for accessible and low profile storage for a small amount of tools rather then leaving loose in the bed or inside.

Swing case, a guy just made a post about one a week ago. See if you can find it.
