My truck doesn't have tire lowering tool. Does the tire lowering tool have a 3/8 male end? I was thinking of making homemade tool with a couple 12 inch extensions.

you talking about the tool that looks like a screwdriver and is used to loosen the shrader valve or removing the spare tire from under the truck ?

3/8" extensions work fine. I do the same thing to drop the tire from under the bed.

Because I had already done this for my Tundra. I keep essential tools and get rid of duplicates. Tool kit has 3/8" extensions, so I didn't need the original tire lowering tool.
