Bought this and a shorter version cause I wasn't sure where I wanted to mount my V1. If you want a little extra length to the cord so you can mount it somewhere other than right below the mirror you'll need this cord. I don't think I will be using it. Was $24.99 plus shipping. I'll sell for $19 shipping included.
