    Yeah, you're talking 2.7L numbers.

I'll get 19-20 putting around the city, and about 21-22 on roadtrips at 75-85 on some hilly highways (2.7L auto DCSB).

HAhaha yeah the 85-90 mph MPGs I get does not surprise me but even when I've gone between 60 - 65MPH the most I gotten was 16.7MPG so I figure that I might as well put the pedal to metal and get to my destination quicker.

I dind't notice that this was for the 2wd, the sticker MPG for the 4wd is a little lower.

Fuck it I love my truck :)

Also weather can affect mpg more than I thought.. I drive from El Paso tx to Lubbock every other weekend on backroads (350 miles).. It is usually very windy and I get around 14-15 mpg going about 85-90 this weekend there was zero wind and I got 16.2 mpg at the same speeds

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
That's aerodynamics more than weather, these trucks are shaped like bricks so any wind resistance is going to really cut down mpg.
I absolutely HATE driving in strong winds in a truck or any high profile vehicle, makes life miserable! Meanwhile in a slim little car, you hardly notice it and it has only small effects on mileage.
You could give me whiteout blizzards, heavy rain and searing heat all day and I'd happily drive in those over gusty winds, haha!
