I keep hearing that temp. Is critical when filling tranny fluid,.but nothing specific ......so what is the correct procedure for filling the tranny? And what is a good substitute for Toyota tranny fluid?

Give that a look and it should give you the information you need to correctly fill it. A lot of the posts mention Valvoline Maxlife ATF as a good alternate, and there's even some guys that swear by it. Just do a little searching.

Dealer Flush Procedure, be sure its not underfilled or it will act up and jerk a lot !
