    I commented in a thread where another member had a tire blowout and needed some help. Got me thinking. Maybe we need an SOS section. Only members who are broke or stranded on or off road can post up and maybe another member near by can help.

    What I've see best for incidents like that is when someone posts in that specific regional thread. Having one SOS thread may be difficult to keep up with, and confusion may occur when it's not updated or by random chatter.

    FB also seems to have (at least in CO) a few pages for recovery groups that I've seen be a success.
