Buying a first gen! Is this one worth it?

I kinda agree with duststorm here. Any time i have bought an super modded rig like this it ended up being a friggin nightmare. Not saying this one would be but....and especially since the current owner dosent even really know the ins and outs and whats truly on the truck, it could turn into a damn money pit real quick. Ive made a couple impulse buys on super modded rigs and loosing my ass on them i finally learned to buy nice unmodded shit that i could then do the mods myself. Then i knew what i had, how it works, how to work/maintain it and where to get parts for the stuff i had. Not trying to scare ya away from it but i just want you to really think about it. Also as mentioned already, its not a have to, but i would certainly go atleast a 3 link with coilovers. Itll cost quite a bit to do that afterwords too if you wanna do that like ya mentioned.

 

I texted the guy today and called off meeting him later this week, I figure I can get something either built a little better, or less molested (either way) for 9 grand.
