    Hey Guys and Gals,
My name is Ryan, I'm 28 years old and I'm from Louisiana. I work in the pulp and paper industry.

I decided to look up a good Toyota forum because I just purchased a 2016 Tacoma 4 days ago. I've always wanted a Tacoma, but due to them wanting my first born child, I wasn't ever able to afford one. (I didn't have to give up my first born on this deal )

I traded my 09 Z71 Crew cab Chevy with a 6" lift and 35" tires for my Toyota, which is a huge change. I bought the ONLY Tacoma in stock at our dealership, they are hard to find these days!! I'm here to snoop and occasionally post random questions concerning my new truck. The first one being -

Why does my truck look so small compared to the other Tacoma's I meet at red lights?? Mine is the SR5 with no sport/off-road package. But of course, it's 4x4! I'm curious if the other models come with a small lift from the factory, or if the all terrain tires that come on them, make THAT much of a difference.

That's enough for my intro, I probably should've just said,"HI" and made a new thread for my question.

FYI, please excuse any grammatical errors, as I'm typing on my IPhone, at work, while also trying to work!

    Ryan

Dark color trucks always look smaller. See c4e60ae7eddfdffa73b363ae6178c5d6_b87c17af19cae623f7c9ef44d4b4da92004cec43.jpg

^ Not always the case...but it's also not very often I see a bone stock taco...16's excepted at this point so they all look different.

@C A R T E R It looks perfectly normal to me. Could just need some lift and tires on that beast!

You have the one with a TRD package, which is what I'm trying to figure out. Is there a stock lift on yours or is it the same as mine. I see you have larger tires, but right now I don't know if I can't fit much bigger...lol I just feel small, which is a huge change for me. Leveling kit and some meaty tires may help me feel better. I just don't know yet.

Yea, those 16's are super tiny... but I almost feel like they would look alright with just a meatier tire...I don't know though...

    Thanks!

I'm stock height but tires are 265/75/16 so they are 1" taller over stock.

Yeah I wanna chop down that tree in front of my place.
