Might have killed starter???

    Basically i was ripping around the local offroad spot up a hill realized I was going to high center then rolled backward in gear which killed the engine. Since then it only starts half the time and totally died today. Someone told me to hit the starter with a hammer?

    Has nothing to do with killing the engine rolling backwards. If you have to hit starter with hammer, just replace the starter.
