Looking into getting the new back kit rigid industries 20 inch light bar back lit in amber. I don't currently have any running lights so I'm wanting to wire the back light up to my ignition so it comes on with the truck. My question is where would you guys recommend tying into the power for it so as not to hurt anything?

If those background lights are relay controlled anywhere should be okay. If not find something like the radio that already has a decent size wire to tap into.

Thanks, the back lights are not relay controlled. They are supposed to have a really small draw so the radio may be a good idea. Does anyone know what the power wire for the radio looks like and a good place to look for it?

    Youre welcome.

Try Google images. Someone has a diagram.

Will do, thanks again. Looks like the light is on back order so it will give me some time to look it up
