Can anyone tell me if bucket seats from a 2005 Tacoma single cab will fit a 1999 Tacoma ex cab without doing modifications?

you will have to modify the mounting brackets. The 05 seats are a little wider so you would have to shift the mounts over a little. Tight fit but I've seen it done.

used to have - 99 2.4L I4 5 lug & 04 prerunner v6

im not sure, but you may also be able to unbolt and swap out the seat mounting brackets and just use the seat cushions and seat backs
