When should I get a production date and delivery date?

Good news Mitch! Toyota's system for ordering vehicles sucks! Seems they wait for a build close to what you want and then make minor changes. It's not a true build but is based on an allotment for the dealership. A few years back I ordered a Jeep Sahara for the wife. Within 48 hrs it was accepted by the factory. With that info I could go to their website and check on the status of the build(no need to go to the dealership). Once the VIN is issued, it was 10 days or less for the build. It showed the build complete and moving to transport. Tracked transport until it got to the dealership. Got to the dealership about noon and drove away by 4pm. The Window Sticker(MSRP sticker) has on the top " This vehicle was built for Ronda Blair"
