I received my OME Dakar springs tonight from Headstrong off road, which BTW are a pleasure to deal with. I did received them very quickly.... bonus!!! However they did show up with what likes some shipping damage. The springs were not padded with any shipping material of any kind : / Several of the plastic spring keeper guides where broke and almost falling off. My concern is that if I install them they will make noise and clunk, not if but when the remaining lining falls off. Is there an easy fix for this ?? what should I do send them back or make up a "DIY" fix. Thanks IMG_2649.jpg IMG_2652.jpg IMG_2653.jpg IMG_2655.jpg

They actually look OK , the part between the retaining clip and the leafs is intact and enough of the sides left to keep them from falling out

I just received mine with the same damage. I'll take the advise of OZ-T, order replacements, and tell you how it goes. The springs are easy to disassemble, so it should be an easy fix.

Not sure what that has to do with treatment from the shipping company.

    But cool dude.

I got allpro springs...they are made of metal. But seriously there isnt any plastic there. Should be fine either way, might dampen some squeaks if anything

Uh , the plastic liners just wrap the retaining clips , they function to reduce squeaks

    if anything , or something
