My Tacoma XSR is made back on April 2004...and it has on the clock 42,000 miles. I did oil and oil filter change only. The Toyota stays in the garage. My concern is how many years (not miles) the TB can last. Toyota changed the mileage from 60,000 to 90,000 for the same type and quality TB...

A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

Keeping it inside will prolong the life of the serpentine belts, in your case I'd still go with mileage on the TIMING belt, since its internal.

timing belts don't ware from usage, they ware from time. peeps say every 90k miles or so because on average they drive 12k/year, and after about 7 years is when you should change the belt.
