    How do you plan to deal with water in the bottom of the bed? you plan on waterproofing somehow?

    Well the drawer will be suspended so water under it shouldn't be a problem. There is also the holes up at the cab side of the bed so it drains pretty well. Also with the shell I don't get much water in the bed so it's usually not a problem.

    I have a BedRug on the tailgate, so my drawers run 1/2" above the bed floor. Make sure your drawers will clear any covering you might have on your tailgate.

    The added benefit is keeping the drawers out of the water (fortunately, I have not had a leak yet.)

    I'm really impressed with this style of camera. The mirrorless DSLR type cameras. There are a couple on the market and they are quickly becoming very popular

    I'll get some better photos tomorrow when it's all finished best part is that it is not perminantly attached to the bed so I can very easily remove the drawer and platform if I needed to. Remove drawer, remove carpeted platform, and remove the framework.... Done

    These came out pretty light and I don't nearly have to worry about weight yet. I'm running like 2.5" of rake right now. Once I get a bumper obviously it will start to add up. I can always throw another leaf in there for more support. But you are right weight adds up quick.

    If I had to guess the whole platform and drawer installed will prob weigh between 100-125 lbs which is much lighter than the truck vault type drawer systems. Much cheaper too :D

    Nice! My dad and I made mine out of 3/4" plywood... So yeah it was heavy lol

    Playing with the new camera yesterday.... it has SOOOOOO many cool features. Im very impressed with this thing. It actually can generate a wifi hotspot and you can hook up to it with your phone and send photos wirelessly on the fly to your smart phone.... pretty nuts.
