Jason, cool tip... it bugged me too because I couldn't clip the gas cap during refills. Might be a good idea to post this in the Tips and Tricks thread. Thanks again.

Them dispatchers sound good on the radio. But most have a face and body made for the radio.

$15 every few months for a 2-day pass on TIS is a pretty cheap date. You get access to all the service bulletins, tech tips and service manuals for any model of Toyota, Lexus or Screwon.

I will definitely keep this in mind. Especially if some more serious issues crop up.

Since my bed extender and side steps were delayed by the snow, I edited my thumb drive last night so I can actually find my music. The entune system sucks. I had to edit the albums in the mp3 tags to all be whatever mix I wanted. Sucks I can't just pick the folder like every other system I've ever used, but I made it work. The stereo sounds killer even on the SR!

Today i ordered OPT7 LED head and fog lights. Super stoked to get them installed and ditch the dingy factory yellow. I also have on order a GT mesh grille from customgrilles.com and a Leer 100XQ.

Up until today total accessory mods include Huskyliners, 3M window film (25%), DEE ZEE bed mat, LED reverse lights, AVS smoked window vents, Tacoma door sill protectors and all LED interior lighting.

Still need to install LED tag lights (royal pain in the ass with the tow package).

Debating weather to order some NFab nerf bars or just let it ride as is.

/\ this site is not an official Toyota site and is obviously out of date. As of last Friday (12 Feb 16) there were 15 TSBs which came up on TIS when selecting a 2016 Tacoma. All but two were generic and referred to many Toyota, if not all Toyota models spanning years with topics such as how to reset vehicles with Smart Key and Immobilizer systems. The only two TSBs which have only the 2016 Tacoma listed are TS-B-0079-15 (posted above) and TS-B-0072-15. The latter is nothing more than the instructions on how to set the compass built into the mirror during PDS (Pre-Delivery Service).

Sounds like it's coming along! Be sure to post pics...

I installed LED plate lights on my TRD Sport w/ tow, it took me about 5 minutes total. Not sure what issues you're having, but it might be something else.

Regarding the seatbelt dinging and other settings for the truck, had an OBD adapter laying around, installed the app, set up the connection, removed the dinging sound, added 3 additional blinks on when I quick lane change (6 vs 3), set the car to unlock both doors upon pressing the unlock button on the remote once.... and I'm sure some other small things.

Worked very well. The app says it doesn't support the Tacoma, but it does, they may just not officially support it.

I am fairly sure that it has to do with my gorilla sized hands.

Question for you, did you remove the whole housing or just twist the socket free? I have had no luck getting the socket loose. I was planning on following some advice i saw on another thread and using a long screwdriver to release the tabs that are holding the whole housing in.

Any experience you have would be appreciated!

I actually used a small flat head to pop off the plastic face off the light. Worked like a charm. I first tried twisting the socket, but couldn't get it to budge. So I went in from the other way.

This is pretty interesting. They didn't mention prices for the adapter or to purchase the app/price to use app. Wonder if it's pricey?

Also, I wonder how many options we get for the '16 Taco.

Seems like a really cool app, if it works as advertised!
