even though i likely wont be able to make it, i have a question. what's the deal with Smith Forks camp ground obsession? looking around the last time it seemed like there were much better ones along the way, like one of the 2 scrub oaks ones - nicely tucked up against the hill/trees for some protection from the elements etc. jus wonderin

 

No obsession, just seems to be the TW default campsite from previous runs. Like CB channel 16. Hell, I don't even camp. So if someone wants to nominate a different campground, I'll update OP.

 

I might be down for this. Anyone bringing ATVs or dirt bikes. I need to run mine. For a few hours. At least. If the weather is clear I think Im open that weekend. I need to check the calendar..

 

I think @otis24 has some buddies bringing dirt bikes.

I kid of course. You could've fried an egg on my forehead last year it was so damn hot. Scrub oaks sounds shady...

1. Pinstripe trail of death and double ripped off fenders
2. Eric backing into a stationary object (tree) which resulted in his new bumper

 

I'm getting revenge at HV this time...just don't follow me into narrow pin stripe death trails

 

Yeah! Plus I need a tent snuggle buddy for the cold nights

Possibly. I will have to check the bank roll. There is an anza borego camping trip next weekend in the s.o.l.a. Thread
