Has N-Fab changed thier paint process at all. I have seen numerous posts from many forums, about N-Fab nerf bars rusting after only one year, sometimes after a few months. I was suprised to see how much rust was in some of the pictures. Has anybody had this experience in more recent purchases. I was wondering if they changed thier paint process or if this is still an issue. I like the 3" model textured finish but am hesitant if it is going to rust that quickly. I live in PA where they salt alot. Don't really like the look of stainless.

I'm in Harrisburg and installed mine 2 weeks ago so we will see. They are covered in salt right now and to cold for the car wash.

Had mine on for about a month with no rust. But, it's early and I would expect them to be much better made than that. If I see rust, off they go! They are supposed to be "powder-coated." To me this implies a finish superior to just "paint." We'll see. Good luck.:fingerscrossed:

The paint is still shit. My last set went straight to the line-x guy before I installed them.

Have seen where several people had them Line-x'ed. Any good pics on how that turned out? Has the Line-x on nerf bars held up to rocks and salt? Thinking about going that route if the results have been favorable.
