JBL Speaker Upgrade JVC Unit Upgrade

I recently had my check engine light come on and took my truck to the mechanic and they gave me the following code.

CODE # P0001 Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit/Open.

Has this code come on for anyone else with a second gen Tacoma and what did you do to fix the issue?
