So I recently purchased my second Tacoma, its a 2010 Double Cab 4x4 TRD offroad with a short bed. The truck is 100% stock so naturally I want to mod it out and while I have some experience with this on my previous truck, it is my first 2nd gen so I had some questions and figured what better people to ask than you folks on TW. The lift I wanted to do was a suspension coil-over set up and go about 2.5" since I want to run 33" BFG/ATs with no rub, which may take a 1-2" body lift is what its looking like. I was looking at 5100 series coilovers, rear shocks, and All Pro leaf springs. Im not sure what upper control arms to use? My main question is what am I missing? I have read quite a bit about a front diff vibration that occurs after the lift is added. Id rather spend a bit more and do it right than go cheap and screw something up. Any opinions and advice are greatly appreciated, thank you

Every truck is different your gonna have to install the lift and find out if it's gonna do it

Well thats kinda the point of my post, Im trying to head off a problem before it starts. Whether my truck is one of the unlucky ones that gets the vibe or not, I want to ensure it doesn't get it, and thats why Im asking if Im missing anything. Thanks for the response

Ive been looking at the same issue for the same setup on a 2013 dcsb. there is so much information on here that it makes it rather hard to choose a kit. I have narrowed it down to two kits. and OME kit and an ICON stage 4 tubular control arm kit. I have seen some people get diff drop kits and some that don't. Im really leaning towards the icon kit because of the reservoir shocks and new control arms but 2900 is a lot of money.

I have 5100 with 887s set at 0 on my DCLB 2009 Pre-runner since december 2015. This gave me about 3 inches of lift in front and they are smooth with no vibrations, i like the setup. I just finished installing the Icon AAL. On this last one, I will have no opinion at the moment.

Do you have any pics of your truck that I can use as a reference?
