Kind of messy, but you get the idea. I'm planning on building some sort of shelf/drawer system on the left.

Anyone have recommendations for longer shocks for an expo style truck? I'm getting ready to do a shackle flip to add some flex in the rear. I'll add a little rake in the process to get some weight off of the ass of my truck. Right now with all the weight I carry (RTT, 3 tool boxes, 4 ammo cans, spare 37" tire, fuel, water ext) I'm sitting level with allpro expos and 10" Fox shocks. I'm planning to relocate the rear shocks and step up to a 14-16" shock.

Even on pavement I'm getting a lot of bounce in the ass end of the truck. On dirt roads I'm pretty sure it's gonna be horrible. I'm on a limited budget for this one and can't throw $2k worth of shock it like I would like to.

This is what I'm looking at:

    http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-6...te-reservoir-smooth-body-shock-7-8-shaft.html

    And possibly these bump cans

    http://m.ebay.com/itm/201231746767?_mwBanner=1

    Thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

The truck is a daily driver. Sees about 4 wheeling trips a year cause I live in a low, flat swampy shithole.
    Truck in question

My other thought is to try the cheap 14" Foxes and a Chevy 63" swap to get more weight capacity than the Expos

If you're on a budget, you should probably go with the Cheby springs and 14" shocks with a relocate kit.

Had my truck go through its first test run last weekend, I'm very happy with it, it's almost ready to get back out there I have two trips locked in for sure this year, both into central British Columbia and a bit of the north, first trip is a 5 day guy in march. I will be staying in a hotel for this one cause its free and I'm not complaining still gonna go play with the truck though. Second trip is gonna be 10 glorious days living out of the truck. I'm adding a temporary fix for my shitty leafs unfortunately it's just another leaf. End game is gonna be 63's though.

How far north are you going? I'm in northern BC and usually up for some wheeling if you need/want another truck around!

Whereabouts in northern BC are you. Last summer was my first time in BC besides Vancouver. Did a bunch of stuff in the southern part, south of Kamloops. Whipsaw, along the Frasier and Moly peak most notably.

We have discussed going back this summer to explore BC some more.

I'm going to hit up AB( banff and jasper, I wanna stop in Creston, other than that
I'm still planning the gf says we have to stop at at least 3 wineries lol...I'm researching some more off the beaten path stuff at the moment can't stand resorts and tourist shit

Whipsaw and molly are my two favorite places so far, I usually do the two back to back Aug long weekend, but I think I'm gonna skip it this year and go somewhere else. Did you camp at the lake or in the saddle?
