Come on OZ, swept, shovel, salt, snow blower or whatever else you guys up north do, if it isn't beach sand, i never have to deal with it.

My back and neck are not too good, so I've been using a hydraulic splitter for over 15 years now for firewood. I still enjoy going out in the woods and getting my own firewood. Even with a snow thrower, I have a few areas I have to hit with a shovel. I have two decks and for some reason I shovel both off, even though one doesn't get used except to have a second access/exit out of my mobile home. Plan on down sizing it this Spring. I get vertigo a few times a year and can get sick to my stomach when that comes on, but not all the time the last five years or so, so I have to limit how much physical stuff I do at a time. Nice in a way, but very frustrating when you are on a roll dealing with firewood, getting the shed filled for the next season or doing some heavy yard work.

That's what I was thinking. I work night shift with a long commute. If it's stormy it's even longer so there is no way I'm shoveling the sidewalk at 7 am when I get home after a 14-15hr day.

Luckily no sidewalks around here tho, only thing you need to deal with if you don't clean your lane is dirty looks from the neighbors.
