Age is catching up with you!:D I've noticed it as well, but not to that extent. I do think that the HIDs are everywhere now. Even the new cars rolling off the lots seem to be much brighter than usual. I chalk it up to my contacts needing a good cleaning.

I've noticed that they have replaced all the street lights with LED's in my town, which are super bright as well. When I first noticed it I constantly would look out my window at home and think someone was parked with their lights on outside. No more orange glow now they are bright white.

    No streetlights on my street!
    :bananadance:

That would suck, though. The old sodium bulbs were almost like having a night light when I lived in town; LED's would be annoying as hell.

We live on the same street as the college so there is constantly students walking the sidewalks. I understand the brighter lights for the safety aspect of the students. It still throws me for a loop when I back out of my driveway though, I probably check both directions 4x thinking there's a car coming.

And all of the new 'luxury' brands do too. Either screaming bright LED's or those $90 Xenon bulbs.

If they are coming at me I don't even flash they. If I notice someone's highs on I turn mine on until they turn theirs off. As long as I don't flash someone else in the process.

I had that happen the other day when it was snowing then changing to rain. I went by and the person never turned off their high beams. I slowed down and went behind them and turned on mine for a few seconds, I went by and they never turned them off so I slowed down and did it again. I stayed behind them for 2 minutes and they never turned them off. I went by again because they were driving so slow and they finally turned them off when I got about 1/2 mile ahead of them. Friggin people.

My mother will not drive at night for that reason. Always has been like that. Cupcake is starting to have similar complaints..

I do notice more cars come with projectors if not HID or LED as well. I had a hhigh beamer behind me the other night and turned right, but then swung behind them at the other side of the triangle that is near my house. This ass farmer then tasted my PIAA lights

Nothing's worse than a lifted Silverado with xenon bulbs and an led light bar. There's this douche nozzle on the vineyard who drives with it on. Of course I pass him every night on my way home from work... I don't know how he hasn't been stopped.

in other news, I officially own my truck. Made the last payment yesterday.
