Here @ the salt mine until 10AM. Then it's the weekend! Home to start installing new suspension goodies on the Tacoma. Hope is to finish before Sandy gets off work. (5PM) Looking forward to tomorrow! 68 degrees so they say! I fixed a deep fryer for a buddy and I'm gonna take it on a test run this evening. Doing some chicken and tater wedges. Got a bowl full of cole slaw in the fridge already. May involve chilly beers too.

@Bluegrass Taco - I should receive my 884x's and AAl's from Headstrong today. I'll install this weekend as well.
I'll look to you for tips and tricks, or maybe just the occasional words of wisdom.

 

Sorry for being in the 50+ forum but I just wanted to thank you for the pictures . Thinking about the east coast sunrises and the west coast sunsets is what gets me through the 9 degree days.

I don't know if you've removed/installed struts on a Tacoma yet or not, but prepare yourself for some fun.....First piece of advice...unhook sway bar on BOTH sides before trying to remove the strut. First time I did 'em, I thought I'd do one side at a time. Didn't go well......

 

@Bluegrass Taco - I installed 5100's two months ago without unhooking the sway bars. But maybe it will go much easier with the sway bars out of the way. Thanks.

 

For the record, sunrise pic is on east coast (only coast) in TX and the sunset pic is west coast FL but temps are similar

 

Morning all. Got great seats for the Clippers/Spurs game last night. 6 rows from the court.

 

New Destination ATs and TRD center caps from JDTaco. Truck rides much better and I get better MPG with the New center caps

Figured I'd post up a walk around of the truck. Recent changes are the retros I added clear reflectors to and a different bezel with a super yellow blinker lens and clear bulb with a morimoto ultimate 5500k 35w kit in them. Also the black/clear LED 3rd brake light added recently. Put the white covers on the hid hellas until the new ballasts arrive, lost one the other day so I figured I'd just cover them up for now. They are 35w 3000k so they are my real fog lights. The oem bumper fogs have 35w 6000k hids in them. Next project is moving all the power feeding the extra lighting to the blue sea fuse panel added last wknd, one of which will be wiring up the LED bar to the switch in the cab. Loves me some wiring projects (sarcasm) .....like the side mirror blinkers and hooking the power up to the side mirrors since reg cab not wired for that. Fun fun fun. Anyway, pix..............
