Trimming wont be that much of an issue as long as its not trimming the actual fenders. I don't like the mudflaps I currently have so those are going away aswell.

Well that posted funny but the answers are in red.

Eventually I will add a plate bumper with a spare swing out carrier mounted on it. Its going to be sort of a slow upgrade process as I don't want to be completely broke right away hahaha.

Then you might as well have the d29 xl for the dakars in there from the start. The standard dakars will squat a lot with that bumper and any other extra weight. Unless eventually means two or more years down the road, but even then I would do it.

^this is what I was referring to. Might as well do it when it's off the truck before installing it. Those leafs are a pain to handle especially under the truck on your back.

Na it wouldnt be that long down the road. Ill have to look at gettings those as well then. Im assuming you have to buy them seperate since they dont come as part of the kit.

Got an ICON Stage 3 and eventually got the All-Pro overload springs for all the weight I was dealing with. No vibrations in front (did the CV joint change out early) and have no regrets regarding the setup.

You might be able to have the place you buy the dakars from install them before they ship, but there is no reason you can't do that yourself. That's easy. If you have time and tools there is no reason you couldn't do the whole job yourself. A weekend with some help from a friend is all you need.

I did the rear of my truck in six hours on a Saturday night with help and finished the front up on sunday in three maybe four hours. Found the front to be easier than the rear especially if you aren't doing the uca's. That was the hardest part.

Ill have to send marie at headstron another email asking if they could do that for me. I live in an apartment so putting on my self is out of the question for the time being.
