Anyone get out and ride? Dual Sport or off road... Looking for people to ride with. I usually ride in Rowher, Drinkwater, Gorman, or Silverwood ...

I do, I race in NHHA and D37 (Desert and Scrambles series)
I have a plated 2013 KX450f, AF500 and a few other bikes in my quiver.
Let me know if you wanna ride sometime, I go to Ocotillo Wells a lot when not racing, not racing full time this year so more time to play.

Would have been awesome to join, ended up mountain biking in Gaviota. Never been up that direction. Is there a good amount of single track up? I have a ton to learn about the areas in Cali.
    Thanks

Very nice bike sir, how was the riding in Mojave? Any recommended trails?
    Cheers

Thank you, I love this bike.

Today was my first time off-roading with the S. 10ERE.

We went to Jawbone Cyn, (bottom of the map) 15 miles after Mojave.

It wasn't that much fun, we took SC 176 toward Gold Peak (top left of the map) on flat areas pure soft sand, hard to control the 600lbs bike. The only fun he had was on the way up (dirt road with whoops).

Unfortunately this trail has ups and downs, not just up, and a lot flat parts with deep soft sand.

We made it half way up and my top box fell off, luckily some 4x4 helper gave me a rachet so we turned around back home.

Great experience, but I dont recomend to do this trail with a heavy bike.

    Nice!!!

Looks like a hard trip with a heavy bike. Gorman was nice, couple single track trails. I like riding there

Adventure bikes will only get you so far without struggle in tough terrain, but props to you for going for it!

That looks like fun. I have put that trail on my list of to do's. Could be fun getting stuck. Just hit it fast and push through. Lol. I try to run the tkc80's when I know it's going to be soft like that. Although lately I have had a love affair with the heideneau k60's. Are you running stock tires?

The Super T is an amazing bike, heard a lot of good things about it at the D2D.

I am headed to furnace creak campground this weekend to do some exploring of Death Valley. Debating on taking the bike since the lady isn't coming and the rtt hasn't come in yet. :)

The struggle is half the fun. :) until you drop it in a ditch, and spend a day winching it out.

Looking forward to some cooler temps myself

Itching to ride up in big bear sometime soon now that I have hopefully taken care of my overheating issues.
