    2011 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 5sp 4wd, blah blah blah.

So, while trying to reassemble the small plastic triangle trim piece on the door, I managed to knock 2 of the 3 plastic rivets / clips down into the abyss and of course the trim piece will not stay one with the one remaining clip.

What are these rivets / clips called, and where can I buy them? I have spent all afternoon scavenging the internet and still haven't found what I'm looking for.

Also - The pop-rivet directly adjacent to this plastic piece I'm whining about; does anyone have a source for buying these as well?

You'd think by this day and age, someone would have invented some form of dash clip that doesn't fucking break if you look at it wrong... Anyways, any insight would be much appreciated.

    Thanks - Mike

I just did the same thing. I was replacing trim after installing speakers and ended up pushing them through and then starting over after digging them out of the door recess.

I learned to carefully remove them after popping of the trim piece or sail panel, or whatever it's called. Then reinstall them onto the panel itself and easily pop the panel back on.
