    lol ... I just dropped this but will only take again as an online option. The book and homework was ALL online anyway, not to mention the mandatory math lab time ... not much point anymore to SHOW up two times a week @ school when those same 4hrs (time & energy) could be used getting work completed as well as learning.

    When I used to build PC's back in the day for my friends, I always asked what the intent was? Gave me an idea of how to piece\price the hardware for as much savings as possible. Anyways, the point being, how simple\complicated of a setup do you want? You can buy a CB for about $40 or thereabouts, or, get units that are $150+. Also, there are setups to where you can make your setup not too permanent. Perfect example is the Midland 75-822. It cost more than $40, but the options\setup is pretty cool! When it comes to HAM related equipment, I can't express it enough, they're really, really strict when it comes to operating without a license!!! So, how much are you willing to spend? A simple CB setup, including cables, antenna, etc... the basic necessities, if you will, should be right around $80-90... just under $100.
