So here's the issue, my LED daytime running lights are not working at all under the following circumstances.

-During the day with the headlights in the AUTO position, with the engine running parking brake down.

They are dim or not at full power, under these circumstances.

-Light switch in the parking light position with the engine running, parking brake down.

I've checked every dam fuse, listened for relays, and even disconnected the battery.

I tried checking and unchecking the DRL in the vehicle customization function.

I even replaced the DRL relay.

Since the DRL can be customized via the entune system, this is where I am stuck. I'm wondering how I can check this module. Possibly the fuse I can pull to reset?

    Any ideas?

Photo of the engine running with the lights in the parking light position. Note the power of the light does not change once going into drive like it had before.

Why do you need DRL on when you are stopped and have the parking brake engaged?

Don't need DRL period, simply describing the problem.

Just curious. My led drls stopped working. Except if my headlights or parking lights are on. Then they are dim. But when in the drl position they are off. I checked the power. Seems they have a constant 12v going to it but the switch wire is real low, and complete no power when in the drl switch. You mentioned that they replaced the Ecu to fix the issue?

Do you have after market HID lights installed?

Yes. Blow fuse. There is a fuse and a relay for the drls. Atleast the led ones. Not sure if the turnsignal sr models. But the led versions have a fuse under the main panel under the hood. I can’t say how many times I overlooked it, thinking that relay was the only thing. But there is a 10amp fuse for the drls.

Thank you. I changed the fuse but it blew again. I may have a different issue, grrrrrr.

I’m not sure what lights you have. If you have aftermarket. My issue was I put in some aftermarket faux pro headlights. I had to reuse my factory plug for the drl and when I connected it all and heatshrinked it. One of the wires still managed to come loose. Had to figure out which side then take the headlight back out to re do the wiring. That was the reason for my issue.

That’s helpful, I have the after market pro lights by DEPO also but they were plug and play DRL. I’m thinking there is an issue with the wires that’s popping fuse. I’ll check that tonight. Thanks

Same. See I purchased mine second hand from a guy on IG who never installed them. He purchased them for a sr model so they had all that extra wire and that stuff. Idk. Anyways if you have led drl model truck you just snip that harness off to the 3 main wires that match your factory plug and snip that and color match for the finish

I tried to hook up my Raptortype grille lights to my DRLs and now they don't work.

Fuse appears to be good. Driving me crazy too.
