Bed rail system on 2016 Tacoma

Hi all -

2016 incoming... I had a look at it yesterday at the dealer. I noticed that the rail system was missing the third strip along the back of the cab (vs. my 2005)

Just wondering if that was the norm on 2016's

Yes it is normal. But you can order the part from the 2015 and it fits perfectly if you want to add it.

Agreed - should be included

 

if youre trading an older model in....take the front rail out before hand and tell them it was destroyed during a move. problem solved.

 

Too late ... sold the old truck 3 weeks ago. (wasn't worth anything on trade - had 425,000 km on it and fried rear diff)

I should have paid closer attention to the truck I test drove, before ordering ...
