No tailgate key

Has anyone else not get a tailgate lock key??

 

I am from Canada, and didn't get one. Not sure if this is correct, but I bought a manual transmission which does not come with the smart key and push button start, so I just got two key fobs and that's it. I think it's only available for automatic transmission with smart key feature...

I could be wrong but when I get back to town I'm phoning to dealership to confirm, cause I had no clue about the "valet" or "tailgate" key that I've seen a few guys talking about.

Maybe someone else could confirm this for us?

 

Welcome. You might want to move this to the 3rd Gen forum, as 1st n 2nd gens didn't have locking tailgates.
