$70 for a chunk of channel iron and a case of beer for a fab man and you will have a road legal bumper.

I've seen guys use 2x6 and carraige bolts. Probably nothing in your state motor law actually requiring them. Have a light on your license plate and most cops around my area would never look twice.

OEM take offs are cheap and easily found. You should be able to find a new bumper cover and crash bar for $100 with fog lights left inside the bumper. And chrome rear bumpers nobody wants, so they get tossed for sale to an audience who largely doesn't want it - $50 should get you a rear bumper.

Bedsides and front fenders become available occasionally when someone decides to buy fiberglass units. They aren't that much either.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
First off, I want to say I'm happy you didn't drive drunk. That would have been a lot more $ to fix. Second, you live in NY, if your name is referencing that. Don't mess around, you know how cops can be here. I agree with koditten, buy a factory take off from a member. They are cheap. Also people sell tail lights around here, so I bet for under $200 you could have it back on the road. Good luck with the repair.

Relentless Fabrication makes DIY front and rear plate bumper kits that I think I am going to get rather than spending money on replacing stock only to go plate down the road. It's drivable and legal right now with the exception of the tailgate so time isn't a huge issue. Only thing is, with plate front and rear, would I have to get a stiffer suspension set up right away?
