Anyone know the quality difference between buying blacked out badges and decals vs DIY? Just curious... I'm pretty new with everything that is involved with building a Tacoma.

I plastidipped my badges. i am very pleased with the results, and i am also a picky person. They are pretty damn close to perfect.

"DIY" is only as good as the "Y". If you are confident in taking them off prepping them the right way and using high quality materials, id say it can be just as good as buying them. That said if you are planning on just throwing some plasti-dip on them dont expect them to look as good. I guess it also depends on how much you value your time.

awesome! I read a pretty sweet DIY for the badges.. I'll be sure to look into it more! Also... in the process of buying 3in lift... I really dont want to break the bank on it if I don't have to...suggestions??? 18in FUEL VAPORS for wheels... going with a A/T tire.. whats the largest size I could fit with minimal trimming... I was thinking taking the mud flaps off and trimming of the plastic would be about it.
