I didn't really do the work, but I was there when my friend did, and he torqued everything to spec I'm sure. That's not to say it didn't come loose somehow...

How many miles you have ?
Your video sounds like brake shield, but for wheel to suddenly jump to touch brake shield it has to be loose on Wheelbearing to do that. That would mean CV nut not tighten to spec. I would check that with Torque wrench.

Remember the nut needs to be at 173 ft*lb.
A lot of times when you tighten axles it gets to spec but it was resting on something, so you do have to re tighten after couple miles. Try it and hopefully that fixes your problem.
Also if you doing the Driver side an that fixes your problem, I would suggest doing passenger side just to keep wheel bearing together. You will be surprised how that tightens the truck.
Afterwards I would do alignment just to make sure everything holds up. Good luck.

Yup. I made that video after getting under the truck to try and find the source. I recorded a video of what it sounds like inside the cab when I move the CV housing. It sounds like the clunk I hear when I'm driving. Then I got under to record the play in the CV to ask TW about it.

Here's my thread on it: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/found-it-post-lift-clunking-and-knocking.407165/

Just a followup for anyone searching... Friend and I tore the drivers side down a bit but couldn't really find anything that stood out. CV nut was tight. Brake shield didn't look like it was coming into contact with anything. Everything seemed torqued.

With the truck jacked and the wheel off, I turned the steering wheel back and forth. We heard would could have been the clunking sound (a very light version of it maybe). Pulled the tie rod off, turned the wheel again, and then we didn't hear the sound. Tie rod end seemed fine though. Cleaned the castle nut a bit, reattached the tie rod, and turned the wheel again. Didn't hear the sound. We weren't sure, so retorqued a few other bolts, threw the tire back on and went for a test drive. It hasn't made the clunk for 2 days now.

So... we're not sure. Maybe tie rod was loose? But just pulling everything off and putting it back seems to have fixed/tightened/moved whatever it was that was making the clunk. So in the end I'm happy.

Yeah, probably. Wish I had a better answer though.
