hi, I'm trying to decide between wheelers 5 leafs and general springs hd. I've seen some really nice setups with wheelers and 881's but considering general springs for their increased payload and price.

Ideally on a double cab with 265/75/16's but any general springs with ome coils on the front with help.

    Thanks!

Bump. I need this as well. Just installed 5100s with 881s and now my rear sits too low. Generals definitely being considered.

They are too damn high for my taste. I have a new set of HD's setting in the corner. I sure would like to trade them for a set of standard springs. I couldn't even drive at night with them in without readjusting my headlights. Took them off after one day.

I had my frame swapped in 11/14 and the installed new springs. If you want to sell yours or trade please pm me and I'd be very happy to make a deal. 2003 v6 access cab and I don't really haul anything besides occasional trip to home depot etc. ~15k miles on them.

Aren't they supposed to take a little while to settle? Was it a lot more than the 1.5" they claim to lift?

I'm around Boston Mass. But I'll be in northern Vermont for the next few days. I've come to terms with shipping being a pain so I'm still interested and will pm you my cell and email.

Haha. I actually read your post a while back when I was making decisions on the front suspension. My "stock height" set up ended up pushing me up by 3" upfront.
