I'm looking to trade my chrome rear bumper pods for white rear bumper pods. My Truck has around 450 miles on it and does not have the tech package.

I could be wrong but I believe all the painted bumper covers have the hole for backup sensors. It would not make for a wise trade. :)

You may be right, I just assumed that since you can buy unpainted bumper covers from Toyota without backup sensors that they would have installed them on some of the Tacoma's (it looks like possibly the SR model).

Pretty sure you can get the TRD Sport without the sensor holes and the covers would be painted also

But as another idea I've seen great results with guys DIY painting them. There is a thread in 3rd Gen forum somewhere about that

Just curious. I have thought about an even trade of my Barcelona red for chrome.
How would you do this? Send yours off in hopes that the other party does the same in good faith?

Locally is always the best/easiest, but I've traded parts in the past this way (sending parts and waiting for the other persons) without any issues. If your uncomfortable with that I'm sure any legitimate person your trading with would be willing to give a deposit through Paypal that would be refunded once they sent the parts back to you.

No I'm not uncomfortable in doing that way. I was just curious how others have done it.

    Thank you
