Anyone have access to the factory service manual for the 3rd gen yet? Haynes manual?
    Wiring diagrams?
ANY supplementary books aside from the owners manual? I'm in need of something to read to bloat my head

Does anyone have any ties to someone who works at a dealership that may have access to some of this paperwork?

*I understand what I'm asking for MAY be illegal*
I really just want to increase my knowledge base so I don't get jerked around by the dealership

    This is what you want:

    https://techinfo.toyota.com

You can download whatever you need from there. A three day subscription is pretty cheap. I don't know if everything for '16s is up yet but I would assume so by now.

So you read FSMs for enjoyment rather than for fixing something?

Went on the tech site and bought a 2 day cycle a week ago. Some good stuff in there. There is a LOT of stuff, but there is some good stuff. I wish it was better organized, there is a lot of redundant information. I was trying to figure out a way to download the entire thing, but unfortunately it just wasn't happening in the short time.

You sir are awesome! Thanks so much for the reply. I wasn't even aware this resource was available online.
Is this resource stickied yet? Because it really should be!

It's a brand new truck, I haven't got anything to fix yet seeing as how I have a wife that prevents me from breaking things :(

Good to know, sounds like I'll need access to a computer and a full weekend to get what I want out of it. What you're saying is.... Prepare for information overload?

I'd say there are no less than a few hundred links in a tree view that you have to print to PDF on each one because they obviously don't want to make it easy...... There are also a minimum of 3 - 5 sections for each chapter, some as many as 20+. It's... intense.

I got the electrical, interior panel removal, and 4x4 stuff.

Assuming one were to have the patience, do you think every shred of information could be downloaded in a day or two, and then sifted through later?

I'm assuming they have redundant repetitive information due to all the different models available for purchase as well as the 2wd trucks and such?

IF I COULD MAKE TIME... I wouldn't mind getting to work on sifting through and organizing packages relating to everyone's specific truck. Maybe compiling a list of files each member could download for their respective trucks.

I wish I had more access to resources like this when I rebuilt my '83 pickup. Would have made the process ALOT smoother

I use a Mac which has pretty simple print to PDF functionality, so this is exactly what I did.

IF you have the patience, you could go through every page and print each one. The only issue is some pages reference sub-pages of other things. It could be confusing if you were looking up.... say a general pdf on disassembling your door panel, and it references sub page of disassembling the arm assembly. This is common throughout, I've seen some of the dash pages reference 6 or more other sub pages for other components, they don't simply list the entire thing there.

That said, the pieces I wanted were there and for $15 worth it when I need them. I didn't need all the engine/tranny stuff as while I'm mechanically inclined, I have a warranty for a reason and won't be messing with anything. But the basics, brakes, wiring, panel removal, torque specs, maintenance procedures, etc are all downloaded for my AC 6spd TRD Sport.

I ended up downloading everything (over 3200 saves) and each had that section's name as the file name. I then combined them all back into a single pdf with Sejda console with a ToC that has an entry for each section. It would be nice to have all the other imbedded hyperlinks for navigation but I can get to what I want pretty easily. TIS also lets you download the wiring diagrams, Tech Tips (pretty worthless) and Service Bulletins. It was well worth the 15 bucks for any of the tinkering that I might do over time.
