My lift finally came in... Are you waiting for wheels and tires before you install? Just curious how the install goes

Got tired of reading... But, have you considered 255/85/16's?

33" tires, narrow enough to clear without trimming. Depending on the BS of your wheels. I have mine on TRD OR wheels. No rubbing, no trimming with OME 886's, 1/4"'top plate spacers, full Dakars in the rear

My kit was installed two days ago, on stock wheels right now, tires and wheels should get here this afternoon. Ordered 285/75/16 nitto grapplers M/T. Don't mind trimming a little if I have to. Got a full 3" front lift so hopefully won't have to trim much.

It's the width of the tire and the back spacing on the wheels that're going to get you. 3" lift won't help much there.

But, hey LOTS of guys are doing it. Sure you'll be fine.

Just an FYI for those reading, Pep Boys quoted me $20 per coil to install if you bring them in (putting coil on shock). Should help cut the $100 and some odd dollar assembly fee some places charge.

Ran stock wheels for two days and didn't get any vibrations. Had wheels and mud tires installed last night and not getting any vibrations.
Marie at headstrong said I shouldn't need them, guess she knows her stuff cuz I don't need them.

Installed my full ome kit today... Wasn't too bad. Didn't measure before and after but I like what I got out of the lift, sits pretty level.

Yes I'm happy with mine, had to trim a bit for front rubbing but that's all. Waiting for some rain to arrive to go mudding.

Nice picture, we get no snow down here, think I had to trim cuz of tire size. It's not much that I had to trim, like 3/4" of plastic but would only rub on a hard turn.
