i just bought a 2006 SR5 4WD 4.0L V6 Tacoma access cab and I love it. It has like a tonneau cover bracket already in place. Does anybody know where I could just buy the cover without the bracket too? Thank you.

That would depend on what kind or brand of T/C it had on it.

You'll probably find out that the cover alone will cost about the same or more than the kit. A cover will probably have to be ordered directly from the manufacturer, whereas the kit can be bought at a discount from any number of places.

Do some research and buy exactly what you want. There are sooo many different brands of tonneau covers out there...

And like someone already said, you won't save any money on buying just the top (without the brackets) and you'll be stuck with the exact same cover as the previous owner had.

Get what you want......and ditch the brackets that are there!
