    Hey guys, and ladies
I'm new to the forum and I have a few questions about my 07 Tacoma Trd sr5. I have been looking through the Manual and talking with a friend who owns a 11' Trd. He says that he has a traction control button and I don't have one. Also I don't see what the sr5 means? Can anyone in lighten me on this please

    SR5 is a trim level.
It is not a TRD model.
    The trim levels are:
    SR/Base
    SR5
    TRD Sport
    TRD Off Road
    And Limited

It has the Trd symbol on the side and a sr5 emblem on the back? Did someone add the sr5 emblems themselves? I bought it used

It has the 2h- 4h-4l and the rear dif lock as well as the towing package, so is just a sr5 4x4?

Sounds like they replaced the tailgate with one off an SR5 after the stock gate had an unfortunate incident.

Edit: I'd remove the SR5 badge, since you actually have a TRD Offroad.

2005-2010 trucks have the SR5 emblem on the tailgate for TRD-trim trucks. @Sig_07 you have a TRD Off Road model.

I do have the ax-doc converter in the back but the tailgate comment makes sense

Sorry Rock, I was speaking of more recently. Don't think we had the Limited all years either.

I think that side airbag package was double cab only too.

I still have the brochure from my 08 and it shows the only model available with optional side airbags as double cabs.

There were several more low-volume or regional trim levels, all of which are not relevant to OP's discussion:

    TX
    TX Pro
    TX Baja
    TSS
    XSP-X
    TRD Rugged Trail
    Trail Teams (Canada only)
    TRD Yamaha (Canada only)
