won't start ?!?

so my friend has a 4 cylinder kia. it just sat for over two months and it won't start. we knew the battery was bad before it even sat, so after a new battery and bringing the starter to get tested (it passed) it's still not working.

took out the spark plugs, and they had oil on them, so we replaced those....still didn't work.

so next, i figured since he didn't ad a fuel stabilizer while it sat (only had a quarter tank of fuel). we unplugged the fuel line and gave it some gas and the fuel that got pumped out had some crud in it. i figured, great, problem solved....but nope now we're thinking that the fuel injectors are clogged with the same stuff that was in the fuel lines. so we are going to try to clean/unclog the fuel injectors...i know they are very sensitive parts, so i was wondering if there is a good safe way to clean them? and if there are any other reasons the car may not start (if the fuel injectors aren't the problem)

Or not to let it sit for 2 months without any maintainence....

So I assume that since the battery and starter are good...It IS cranking...but not turning over??

 

yes, it's cranking like it should, and sound like it's extremely close to starting...and as you can see, the kid is not the brightest...he did buy a Kia Rio so i wouldn't expect him to have the foresight to ad a fuel stabilizer.
