I installed these brackets and a pair of 3" pods tonight.

Just wondering if you guys running these things have any problems with water after removing the end caps and trimming the cowl plastic?

The CBI mounting holes diagram was off for the passenger side mount, I believe, and I had to enlarge some holes in the sheet metal as their holes weren't totally lining up, but they still bolt up good and tight, just expect to bend the sheet metal around the hood hinge a bit at the mounting surfaces as they are not all level with one another. I recommend some antisieze paste or CRC heavy duty corrosion inhibitor between the mounting surfaces.

Trimming was minimal, but definitely more leaves and junk will find their way down between you panels and pinch welds behind the front wheel well.
