Hey guys! I've been looking for a tool box and I'm leaning towards the UWS-TBC-42-W-BLK http://www.amazon.com/UWS-TBC-42-W-BLK-Standard-Beveled-Insulated/dp/B004JASHMU (appears to be the wrong picture, but correct product code)

Has anyone installed one of these without drilling into the bed? Preferably in a way where it is easy to remove the box and also relatively secure? I'm not too concerned about anyone stealing the box unless all they have to do is reach in and pull it out.

Interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

I know this will sound nuts but a full size truck box will fit in the bed front to back. We had a box on a full size Ford that was heading to the crusher I put two 3/4" pressure treated rails on the bottom to fit the groves in the Taco bed and hold it down with one of the Taco bed bolts. Nice big box works good, when I'm done pull the bolt and remove the box for another day.

Why not just mount it to the bed rails with some aluminum angle?

The OEM box from Toyota mounts into the rails with no drilling, UWS does a couple just like that as well.
